I'm listening to Days Go By by Keith Urban, and I have to say, I'm feeling very much like the way he describes time in his song. Honestly, time really does fly. Wasn't it just yesterday when I was sitting in the auditorium for my middle school orientation? What happened to that bruise I got from flying off of my bike? Oh wait, I was ten then. Or even, since when did summer go by so fast? Wasn't the last day of school, like, last week? Time flies, even when it seems like molasses. ("Workdays pass just like molasses in wintertime, but it's July.") Really, I'm trying to focus on appreciating each and every day. I'm trying to learn something new each and every day. I'm trying to waste no time saying, "I'm bored." (Which I have said too many times.) I'm going to try new things, make new friends, and stand up for what I believe. It's time for me to be myself, and do things that I want to do if I have the oppurtunity. There will be no more, "It's too far away...My family would wonder where I was...I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow..." Be spontaneous. Just go. Don't think. Just go.
Carpe diem. Because life is beautiful, and there's not enough time.
You really should stop stealing other people's images! What if they catch you and you get sent to jail and I have to bail you out? WHAT THEN? I can't go without my best friend, Robyn! I just can't.
ReplyDeleteThis kind of goes along with my post about The Buried Life, because I talk about doing the things now that you would if you were dying.
Disclaimer: most images i put on here are not my own. i do not take credit for them or the photography... :)
ReplyDeletei posted where i got them. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Like I said, jail time would not look good on volunteer apps. :)
ReplyDeleteUpdate, let's go!
